Joseph Wicks & G H Spurgeon Beulah Family Isaiah 53

In the previous article, Isaiah 53 is identified..(refer to this)

Tuesday May 3rd 1887, 37 years after his baptism  as a young covert at 15 years old, Spurgeon came to  stand in an official capacity and pray and  to commit the new schoolroom to God. With 150 people present, Spurgeon made his way to the front of the chapel and preached Isaiah 53 to the people in Thornton Heath.

Spurgeon also  did something else...Preached outside on the grass.

Everything happens for a reason and the people who are divinely guided and focussed on God are instruments for his service too. The finding of this church information is indeed brought to my attention because I was born on this circular road, Beulah Crescent in Thornton Heath and had I not been the church might not have stood out for me.

Some time ago I wrote, if God is ruling over one land, he is ruling over all lands. And since this time I learned  Prince Charles is the President of a charity named Caring for God's Acre.

Beulah is also named twice in Wales - no coincidence.

Prince Charles was crowned The Prince of Wales - a title that evolved from King of the Britons. But as Prince Charles is not God and certainly not Jesus Christ, the focus is on God's divine plan for mankind unfolding.

Isaiah 53 it is written to revisit this scripture today:

Who has believed our message    and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
 He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
    and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
    nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
He was despised and rejected by mankind,    a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
    he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
Surely he took up our pain
    and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
    stricken by him, and afflicted.

But he was pierced for our transgressions,

    he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
    and by his wounds we are healed.
 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
    each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
    the iniquity of us all.
 He was oppressed and afflicted,
    yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
    and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
    so he did not open his mouth.
 By oppression and judgment he was taken away.
    Yet who of his generation protested?

For he was cut off from the land of the living;
    for the transgression of my people he was punished.

 He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
    and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
    nor was any deceit in his mouth.

Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,

    and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin,
he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
    and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.

 After he has suffered,
    he will see the light of life and be satisfied[e];
by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many,
    and he will bear their iniquities.
 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,
    and he will divide the spoils with the strong,
because he poured out his life unto death,
    and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
    and made intercession for the transgressors.

At different times throughout the course of history, people have been called for the purpose of reminding that there is a far higher authority ruling over all of us equally.The collective population as individuals are born to learn their lessons and evolve spiritually - Prayer and the Holy Spirit guiding us enables this process.

There are people who deny that God communicates and yet, Jesus has the Spirit of God within his being. As the man who was raised from his crucifixion, Jesus was taken up to heaven. It is one of the spiritual mysteries that God will communicate to the prophets even if everyone does not know how. Through Jesus Christ, the message of truth continues to be given even in this day....for the salvation of mankind.

Charles Haddon (CHSpurgeon 19 June 1834 – 31 January 1892) was a British Particular Baptist preacher. Spurgeon remains highly influential among Christians of various denominations, among whom he is known as the "Prince of Preachers".

So the question many may ask: Who are the Beulah Family?

Remember a church building is a shelter - a house of prayer.

A church traditionally is an assembly of people.

Peace be with you
